Dooseok Kim has worked for Innovation Norway for over 16 years. He has broad experience in heavy industry, maritime industry and hydrogen & CCUS. He has also contributed in the field of offshore wind. Dooseok has an extensive network in both Norway and South Korea, which includes companies, business clusters and authorities. He offers tailored services to Norwegian business, including the establishment of an office in South Korea, market research, partner searches, regulatory issues and the organization of delegation visits and business events. He is fluent in English and native Korean.
Changan Choi has worked for Innovation Norway since 2006. He has broad experience within the IT consulting and service industry in Korea. For the past 7 years, Changan has focused on assisting Norwegian companies and research institutions within the bioeconomy, especially aquaculture and seafood. He has an extensive network in both Norway and South Korea, which includes companies, business clusters and authorities. Changan offers tailored services to Norwegian companies, including market research, partner searches, regulatory issues and organization of delegation visits and business events. He also has a deep understanding of Norwegian and Korean business culture and practice. He is fluent in English and native Korean.
Jason has a background as M.Eng in Renewable/Electrical Energy from University of New South Wales in Australia and RWTH Aachen in Germany. He has extensive experience not only in Science, Technology, and Innovation but also in partnership/marketing/business development at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Samsung Electronics.
Roger Martinsen has led Innovation Norway's office in Seoul since August 2022. He came from the position as Innovation Norway's head of marine industries with a particular focus on the maritime industry. Roger has around 30 years' experience from primarily management and strategy consulting as well as the Oil and Gas supplier industry. Between 2006 and 2011, he was regional manager for Innovation Norway's offices in Russia. Language skills: Norwegian (mother tongue), English (fluent), Russian (fluent).
Sungyun started working for Innovation Norway's office in Seoul in October 2022. For over 13 years, Sungyun has developed his professional career within the Automotive and Electronics industry, both by virtue of his technical background and extensive market experience. In Innovation Norway, he has the position of Senior Market Advisor with a focus on Circular Economy and the Battery Industry. In addition, Sungyun is responsible for 'Invest in Norway', where he assists Korean companies that want to enter the Norwegian market. Sungyun holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering, MBA as well as a Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management. Language skills: Korean (mother tongue) and English (fluent).
Gunn Kim started working for Innovation Norway's office in Seoul in November 2022. Based on his previous position as project manager within the classification of ships for DNV for more than 15 years, Gunn has developed broad experience from the maritime industry. In Innovation Norway, he is responsible for ocean wind. Furthermore, Gunn is involved in activities associated with the maritime industry. By education, Gunn has a Master of Laws in Maritime Law as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering. Language skills: Korean (mother tongue) and English (fluent).
