United Arab Emirates

Large amounts are being invested in technology transition and food security in this area, and the main focus of our office is energy, maritime and aquaculture. We work closely with some major players, but we're also seeing increased interest from medium-sized companies that recognize the great willingness to invest in the region.

The United Arab Emirates as a market

With its strategic geographical position, the UAE is an important regional hub for businesses targeting the Middle East and North Africa. The UAE is also a significant market for re-exports to other countries. Dubai serves as a commercial capital, also for Norwegian business interests in Asia and Africa.

Norwegian business and industry focus on the maritime sector (mainly Dubai), oil and gas, seafood, and defense (mainly Abu Dhabi).
